These DIY fringe blanket pants were pretty simple to make once you figure out the measurements to your body. Most people find their blankets for this DIY at their local thrift store, however, I couldn’t find any at the moment, so I ordered mine from Amazon. Now, here’s a disclaimer for you: I suggest you cut this fabric on top of a table, sewing mat, or somewhere outside of your workspace. LOL!
This blanket fabric sheds a lot and the threads unravel quickly so make sure you handle with care. I made a huge mess cutting this on my carpeted floor and on my bed and it felt like a never-ending cleanup of loose threads & flying cotton dust. I made mine with a drawstring and I love it.
