A Solo Spa Day Is Luxury Self Care

Have you been feeling like you need a reset? I surely did. I caught myself complaining about the smallest things and becoming irritated by the simplest things. Everyone around me felt the tension that had built up for a whole year since this pandemic. I admit I was doing pretty well, and it wasn’t until February 2021 that I started feeling overwhelmed with helping everyone but myself. I’m happy to say that I’m a reliable human being and that people can’t put their trust in me. However, with all this isolation, I found many people needing a lot more and I finally reached a place where I had to reset and care for myself a bit more. So my mother booked me a solo spa day as a surprise, and I couldn’t believe it! It was the best and ultimate shock because I seriously needed it! Thanks, Mom!

I had a massage that I desperately needed from Monica. I also enjoyed champagne in the outside lounge. Aside from the massage, I loved their jet tub bath with the lavender bath bombs that I was able to take part in before my massage. Everything at the DuBunne Day Spa was beautiful, clean, and organized, and the staff was very accommodating. If you’re ever in LA, try to book an appointment, and I suggest a SOLO Spa Day, especially if you haven’t had alone time during this pandemic.
